This fortified wine starts off with a blueberry eau de vie distilled in a small pot still, which is then rested or aged for one year. Meanwhile, a blueberry wine is produced, and the two are married for one year before release. This is most similar to a port production method than the other wines we are reviewing.
This wine s another one of the infusion series that are a specialty at Huber’s. Completely different ( and better) than most fruit wines.

A very interesting fruit wine that is fortified with an aged eau de vie. Not your usual fruit wine in a positive way.
