Bombay Sapphire
Type: London Dry A fairly restrained but flavorful London Dry type of gin but with more citrus and less juniper
The most common or widely found type of gin found in the world outside of Holland and Belgium . Usually flavored with juniper and anywhere from 6 to 20 more ingredients depending on who makes it (most recipes, especially proportions, are trade secrets). Most are not aged, the exceptions being Seagram’s (2 months) and a really interesting one called Kensington which is aged in bourbon barrels (see Reviews | Gin | Kensington).
A fairly restrained but flavorful London Dry type of gin but with more citrus and less juniper
A bit odd and very citrus forward. Not entirely sure I know what to make of it.
A revelation in the aged gin category where less(time) is actually more in the impact. Please bury me with a supply of this.
If humankind were as subtle, smooth, and balanced as this gin the world would be a much finer place.
Like a good friend, always reliable in time of need.
