Bacardi 0 – Flavored Rum
Type: Flavored, Fruit Unless you have a taste for solvents I would avoid this stuff.
Flavored or infused rum is even more complex subject than unflavored rum. Flavored – A somewhat slippery term- strictly speaking it of course means the rum is flavored – how is the big question. Flavored unless another term is also used or specified means (usually) that someone blended in a flavor, extract, chemical equivalent thereof, etc to the rum. There is a substantial variation in quality/palatability in these rums – they tend to be grim. At best they taste like some candy/ice cream etc., not a real drink. They are aimed at the young ( O.K. lets be frank – underage or barely legal crowd) -not quality stuff. Infused – Usually means they used some real ingredients at some point – either soaked in the rum directly or were added to the rum during the distillation process.
I will cheerfully admit to a bias against the concept of flavored rums – and vodka and whatever other spirit that someone adds a flavoring to a whole bottle ( except for specialty spirits ). Make your own, on the spot as needed – it is called a cocktail !
Unless you have a taste for solvents I would avoid this stuff.
More manly sounding but tastes like a fake strawberry rum.
Think watermelon gummi bears or lifesavers dissolved in cheap rum .
Kiddie candy chemical raspberry is a kind description
Higher proof than Captain Morgan or Admiral Nelson and better tasting
Might make a interesting alternative to a gin in the right drink.
A coconut rum worth drinking – a real rarity.
If you want a Limon Rum, forget the other Puerto Rican Rum and grab this one.
If you want a mint flavored rum, forget the other Puerto Rican Rum and grab this one. Much better.
An all natural fruit rum – what an idea ! Wish the big boys would get a clue and try the concept too !
If you are looking for a pineapple flavored white rum, this is it. Both flavor and price point are outstanding
An actually drinkable vanilla flavored rum – unlike most.
We were a little unsure where to list this one. It is described as a liquor, but is made from sugarcane/molasses.
This rum is produced in Canada and a new line extension of the Malibu flavored rum line. Most noted for its sweet coconut line, Malibu is one of the dominant brands of flavored rum.
A damn sight better than most spiced rums ( which I usually loathe). As a spiced rum I can recommend it.
Very low proof almost a RTD
This rum is produced in England.

Big, bold, and unique like its namesake
Much better than your usually available commercially available spiced rums out there.
Considerably higher proof than Captain Morgan or Admiral Nelson (both are 70 proof or 35%), sourced from the Virgin Islands
Probably the best flavored rum, certainly the best chocolate rum, ever.
A bit of a horror show of a rum, I don’t personally get it
