Early Times Blind Archer
While not entirely revolting, it is fairly insipid.
While not entirely revolting, it is fairly insipid.
A fairly foul tasting attempt at a cinnamon whiskey. Somewhat subtle relatively speaking at first, then degrading rapidly towards undrinkability
This is a take-no-prisoners whisky of the Old Style.
Old style, slightly rough and young tasting. Decent and cheap enough for the money.
If you like it rough (but not too rough) this one is for you. A few years can make a big difference.
Quick synopsis of the review
Foul tasting ,gummi candy or Roses Lime Juice with cheap alcohol added. Undrinkable.
While not a favorite, one of my go to bourbons at a lightly stocked bar. Decent and almost everywhere they serve alcohol
Nicely done and very mellow whiskey, Highly recommend for the Whiskey Curious. Almost like a dry, aged rum but more subtle with less sweetness. Lots of flavor without the kind of flavors to scare people off, think of it as a gateway whiskey for the white spirits crowd and a bit of a break from the heavy stuff for the usual whiskey crowd.
An experiment is a good name for it.
