The Matter distillery, located near Bern, was originally founded around the end of the 1920’s. The Matter distillery produces traditional regional specialties in the same antique stills used by the founder and has continuously remained under family control. In 1996, it was handed over to the 4th generation, Oliver Matter and his wife Nicole.
