Players Extreme Green Apple Vodka
Blavod Extreme Spirits USA, Importer
Grain, Unknown Type (Wheat ?)
PROOF: 70 (35%)
AGE: Not Applicable
PRICE: $ 20-$25 - 750 ML
Notes: This Vodka is produced in England and is distilled five times.
Appearance: Attractive thick body to it, clear, no sediment whatsoever. On swirling, it leaves a thin but tenacious clear coat on the inside of the glass, then suddenly turns into droplets.
First Impression: Green Apples, ozone and acetone - plastic, new Naugahyde smell. If this stuff did not come from a sealed bottle I would swear it was a paint remover or solvent of some kind.
Taste: Green apples and WWII rifle bore cleaner. A very warming of alcohol as it goes down the throat, and leaves a persistent green apple/chemical taste. No, I keep telling myself the bottle was not marked turpentine, but why do I feel the urge to call poison control?
Drinks: f you like the idea of Gummy Fruit Lifesavers dissolved in grain alcohol this one is for you.

Cigars: Don't. Just don't.
Final Thoughts: One of the most undrinkable liquids I have ever ingested. Makes the x-ray contrast dye I had for appendicitis seem like a XO Cognac by comparison.
In general I am from the old school which draws a distinction between spirits that I drink and the candy, gum, soda that I consumed as a child, so maybe I am a bit harsh on some of these crossover attempts, but the command of English fails me in my attempts tpo convey my loathing.
Bottle: Tall cylindrical frosted bottle like so many other vodkas these days- easily lost in the forest of vodkas at your local store.
