This is a take-no-prisoners whisky of the Old Style.
Old style, slightly rough and young tasting. Decent and cheap enough for the money.
If you like it rough (but not too rough) this one is for you. A few years can make a big difference.
Damned lovely whiskey. Please bury me with a bottle of this.
Very nicely done, (and in a environmentally responsible way), flavorful and dangerously smooth – just the way we like them!
A good bourbon of a drier style, that is not as common as it used to be.
Nicely done and has a definite sense and taste of terroir (New Mexican Terrior that is).
A interesting whiskey with unique flavor profile. Very well done but hard to classify. This is a very much love it or hate it kind of whiskey.
Inoffensive, not in a bad sense just a bit simple. light in complexity and finish. Might be a gateway bourbon for people trying to develop a taste for brown spirits.
The last substance I had this good was emergency scheduled by the DEA in 1984
While not a favorite, one of my go to bourbons at a lightly stocked bar. Decent and almost everywhere they serve alcohol
