Type: Kentucky Style, Straight Rye Decent starter rye but pricey compared to others.
Decent starter rye but pricey compared to others.
One of the more floral and fruity single malts even among Speyside Drams, that I have had in a long time and a great bargain too!
Another Benriaxh Single Malt this on with more rum barrel influence and peat added to the mix.
Still a great buy at the price point and a bit more traditional ( read somewhat peaty)
A delicate variation/iteration from its sibling the Original Ten with an interesting, subdued yet flavourful melange. Also, Damn cheap compared on both age and quality in the Scotch arena.
A very good rye if not as complex as I would personally like. If you like them a bit shallow and uncomplicated this one is for you.
Singular, a touch exotic, and lovely- just the way we like them .
Kind of a hot, artificial, mess
A very nicely done Four Grain Whiskey especially for a whiskey so young and from such a small barrel. A real standout !
Another notable addition or should I say another addition to the succession of barrel releases of their Four Grain Malt Whiskey.
Even though it is far younger it is very reminiscent of a good Lowland Scotch and other fine malt whiskies .
Nicely done 4 grain white whiskey that is mellow and delightful on its own.
A bit pricey for what it is.
Decent if not spectacular. More of an investment than a drinking bottle for the low-life bottom feeders that engage in such a trade as it will no doubt be a limited edition and much sought-after bottle. Yes, I think a Heaven Hill aficionado would enjoy it quite a bit and it is worth trying if you can, but maybe not buying an entire bottle as it is pricey for what it is. Leave it to the speculators and shallow egotists and buy some of their more modestly priced releases for enjoyment.
Trust the crew from House Spirits (in the land of the serious foodies ) to come up with something completely different.
The grain is 100% malted barley -The whiskey is put in fresh charred oak barrels of various sizes 3 gallon to 14 gallons being used with whiskey from smaller barrels aged less than the larger barrels.
A possibly interesting mixer but NOT a sipper.
Best unaged rye whiskey we have ever had !
A very interesting bourbon flavored with brandy. Well worth a try.
An excellent rye white whiskey, and a great Samogon type spirit also for those of you looking for a lot more flavor in a white spirits that is not corn based.
A full but gentle Irish whiskey-type malt whiskey with a full-grain palate.
An interesting, well made Poitin style whiskey made here in America.
A bit overdone in the char department for me. Not a fan.
Interesting and well made, but not to my personal taste.
Much like your favorite old uncle very interesting , charming, and a touch of eccentric in many interesting ways but not so odd that you avoid them but rather seek out their company.
A lean, dry as dust whiskey not without its charms. Not your average young bourbon.
For those who like it spicy, sweet, and slightly rough.
A good solid rye whiskey that is an outstanding value for the money – not to mention the quality low cost option.
Raid juniors college fund for this one.
Any whiskey lover who tries it will become a convert.
An amazing rye whiskey for the price – Favorite for our around the house rye, and best buy.
An excellent gateway rye that is smooth , flavorful but not overly challenging.
