n this instance they use New York State Montmorency Cherries and their own distilled spirit to produce this cordial.

This fortified wine starts off with a blueberry eau de vie distilled in a small pot still, which is then rested or aged for one year. Meanwhile, a blueberry wine is produced, and the two are married for one year before release. This is most similar to a port production method than the other wines we are reviewing.
